Detailed kerala Itinerary
Arrive at cochin Airport/Railway Station meet our representative get ready to take driven to Munnar. Munnar, "The Southern Kashmir of Kerala", located 1800 meters above Sea level. This hill station is marked by vast expanses of tea plantations, colonial bungalows, rivulets, waterfalls and cool weather. A 4-hour scenic/picturesque drive to Munnar through hill station. Enroute visit Spice Plantations, Valara / Cheeyappara Falls. Arrival at a place which is called 'nature's lovers paradise' On arrival check in at hotel. Later in the day free for leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel in Munnar.
After having scrumptious breakfast from your hotel, start your day by visiting the beautiful Rose Garden in Munnar. It is a dreamland of rose lovers which has roses of almost every color also it has varieties of other flowers and herbal plants. You can also visit Echo Point, Nursery Garden, Photo Point. Go for sightseeing at Tata Tea Museum (Closed on Monday), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Photo Point. In the afternoon proceed to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park closed during January to March due to breeding season) where you witness the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", in the surrounding areas and can take some beautiful pics. Then visit Blossom Hydel Park – which is famous for the scenic beauty and natural aspect. The park has flower gardens and many fun activities. Later, visit Pothamedu Viewpoint & Attukad waterfalls on your way back to your hotel in the evening and spend some time for shopping in the Munnar town. Finally have your delectable dinner from your preferred restaurant/hotel in Munnar and head back to your hotel for a peaceful sleep.
Today after your breakfast, start your drive to Periyar. It is again South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary. It is home to a variety of flora and fauna which attracts visitors from all over the planet. Tiger, leopards, elephants, bison, antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, monkey and a wide variety of birds call Periyar their home. On arrival at Periyar, check in to the hotel and later it is free for optional activities like Boat Ride which is provided inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve Lake. Later enjoy a guided Spice plantation Tour, where you can see variety of spices grown in Periyar and how they are cultivated. Finally, the day ends with an Elephant Camp visit. Here you can watch the Elephant activities like Timber dragging, Elephant Bathing, Feeding & you have option to take Elephant Ride also, Overnight stay at Hotel Thekkady.
Morning proceeds to Alleppey. Alleppey a charming village on the Vembanadu Lake. The land which is known for its azure backwaters, swaying palms, and floating houseboats. A 4-hour scenic drives through typical Kerala Village, Paddy Field. On arrival check in at Kettuvallam known as a famous Kerala Houseboat. Lunch at Houseboat. Cruise through the unique web of lakes, lagoons, canals and river. Visit Paddy Field, Kuttanadan Region the only region cultivate rice below sea level. Later check in to the pre –booked Houseboat for Overnight stay in Alleppey Houseboat.
Today after finishing your breakfast as per your flight/train schedule, you will be transferred to the Cochin airport / Railway station for your onward journey with fond memories of your Kerala holiday. We look forward to welcome you back to the God’s Own Country.
